Reflections on Blogging

Gotta Go Fast!

Blogging is a good way to express myself and I don't mind doing it.  After doing it for a while though I'd say it's only worth blogging if someone is really interested in what you have to say.  It'd be a waste of space otherwise in my opinion unless you find it enjoyable to do it daily when you have off time.  Some blogs give good advice and some give stories.  Everyone has an opinion or a story to tell so this is a good place to put it. 

Memorial Day

I was at a friends house during Memorial Day and I heard some touching music I suppose.  I almost thought his parents were playing instruments but it was just the TV out in the living room.  I didn't really celebrate it and I was just sitting around playing video games.  I did think about it all week though so that's good.  We celebrate for the freedom we are given by soldiers who have died for our country.  The opposite of that is Veterans Day which is basically celebrating for the ones who survived and served our country.

Weird May Celebrations

There is a celebration for every day of every month almost but they aren't major so people don't really celebrate them.  Their are tons of random ones but for times sake I'll just talk about May.  May is apparently national month for smiles.  Some other great celebrations in May like National Barbecue Month, National Bike Month and a bunch of other ones that I quite like the sound of.  If you weren't already excited there is also a National Blood Pressure Month in case that might already be rising.  May the fourth be with you and if you love nature there is love a tree day on the 16th.  Of course to top it all off the best day other than my birthday on the 5th would be the 20th which is Pick Strawberries Day which I could go pick and eat strawberries all day.

Violence on TV

TV has been around forever and action movies and intense moments and drama which has all been around since black and white times.  I haven't watched TV in a long while and if I saw any it was on my parents TV for a little while.  Most people would only flip on their TV to watch the news then turn it off.  They don't really watch violent shows they watch comedy or other stuff.  TV is kind of not worth watching when you can have Ad block on Google Chrome and just watch anything without ads which many sites don't like.  No one really wants to see ads unless they are funny on TV and plus they just create a lot of wasting of time to wait for what people want to see and suspense that some people just don't care for.  There isn't that much violence on TV it just depends where your at and it's not like you ever have to change the channel.  As people go on they pick up things from other people that they follow.  They follow people through their actions and looks sometimes.  Kids are a great example of followers.  Most people would assume showing violence on TV will bring kids to do violence and now they are given more at a younger age without supervision that they should have.  Parents are not as strong as they used to be and standards are changing for what's allowed.  I'd say an age of decent maturity might be 13 depending on if they are mental or not.  An example of violent TV show would be Happy Tree Friends.  It seems very kid friendly at first then all these cartoon characters get totally massacred and that's how pretty much every episode is. 

Cinco de Mayo #My Birthday

Cinco de Mayo, the fifth of May, celebrates Mexico's victory against France in 1862.  Sometimes if you go to Walmart you can see them in the parking lot dancing.  It's quite entertaining and maybe everyone should jump out of their car and dance for Mexico.  Not like we have anything to lose.  Plus it must've been pretty significant if they have been celebrating it for this long.  Mexico and the United States should probably be the only ones to celebrate it though, but who knows.

Thoughts About Prom

Prom is like an upgraded version of dances that usually happen at school for the higher grades.  I usually don't go to these dances because I'm busy not being busy playing video games.  It is all up to you whether you want to go to an event and that goes for any event.  There are always consequences for anything.

Earth Day

I don't celebrate earth day but of course I don't think you would celebrate it and more like you'd kind of worship the fact we haven't ruined the earth.  Like recycling and keeping people from putting anything they see useless in a land fill which is really bad for our planet or trash on beaches and endangered animals being hunted by big shotguns.  This day should remind you of that.  For the most part it usually doesn't though.  I think we should just get all of our trash and find a way to incinerate it down as much as possible or throw it into the sun with some amazing invention made by NASA or another country to solve that problem.

Spring Break

One day getting back from my friends house after being there an entire week and not taking a shower I felt pretty sick.  It was one of those feelings where I thought something was stuck in my throat.  Anyway I'm glad it is all over with.  It turns out I had the stomach flu and I was going to throw up and have to go to the bathroom pretty bad for another 3 to 4 days until it finally went away.  I stocked up on a bunch of waters which I never finished and some Powerade which took my mom forever to get but was great once it got to my room.  I barely ate too much the whole time and I wasn't very hungry.

National Pencil Day...

I enjoy using my yellow pencil and pulling it in and out of my pocket each and every day.  I feel so technical and smart having things in my pockets or at least I'd think everyone feels that way. Also I doodle sometimes or just draw but not on my own time too much.  There may be a time where pencils are seen as useless but it is very far into the future.  National Pencil Day is March 30 and the original inventor of the pencil is Conrad Gessner.

Lightning..

I was at my friends house a couple weekends ago and I brought my airsoft and my computer like usual.  I don't like to carry an entire desktop around but it's boring without it.  We had lots of fun outside with our airsoft shooting at eachother and jumping the creek.  The three of us including me, Jacob, and Jose wanted to have over another friend (Michael) and he never showed up.  We really only wanted to have him over to shoot at him with the guns and hunt him down for fun.  Once Jose left to go home Jacob and I went and walked almost all the way to Michael's house down the road onto a dangerous intersection only to walk back because lightning was around.  It turns out he was at his house the whole time even though I was calling him he didn't respond and he was celebrating something very dumb, but overall pretty good weekend.

Portrait Photography

Portrait photography should be taken at level from a person I think.  This way the camera captures that person for the most part without a ton of other space in the background or anything moving but that person appearing.  People are very captured when they see a good portrait photo of a baby simply because they usually find it cute if it's taken good enough.  The one below is a good example of this.  The one above is great because it is really cool and it has many shades to it.  I consider it to be very smooth     looking.  Also the person should be in focus when taking the picture.

Cheating

Cheating can be used in many different ways.  First of all you have to determine what is being cheated on.  Is it people, games, tests, and maybe homework?  Well that also all depends as well what you are playing, what the homework was and so on.  You can't ever really win anything cheating on people so that is already narrowed down.  Technically cheaters do win though just not as much as someone doing things legit which is the only way to feel good about anything.  That moment you spend all your time to gain something you know you never cheated to get up to.  To know you did something yourself and not stole from someone else or used hacks to get somewhere they shouldn't.

Typing

Typing is addicting which is why you should do it a lot and just practice doing it.  When you type you should go for speed and precision hitting each key one by one until every last one is ultimately mastered.  I used to hate typing but now I enjoy the ability to be able to just type like a maniac.  You should also aim for this goal if you really want to.  There are lots of programs where you can practice typing.  Those are no fun though so don't bother with them just play the more difficult typing games instead so that you shall be forced to become good and then gain great skill as well as enjoy doing so.  learn to be relaxed in any position so that you don't have to worry about how you are sitting or laying.  This way you can type on your side, in very tight areas, upside down, and more normal places to have a keyboard.  Every word has a series of steps to take to type so once you understand the whole keyboard you must then master the sequence of typing one letter at a time very quickly to finish words.  Watch out for the longer words also as they may cause your frustration and possibly fail you.  You may need a drink after reading this much text. 

Testing!

No one likes tests, but they are important.  Everyone must take them so we can all stay on the same track and understand what it going on around us.  Tests are part of being civilized.  Some people say they can't do well on tests.  This could be true if they have learning disabilities.  Tests that ask questions that don't have to be studied shouldn't be difficult though like what career you would choose or personal questions about you want or don't want to do.  Some people say they aren't good at tests probably because they never study for them or are trying to cover up to not have to.  The best way to know a person and what they know is to test them or ask them questions.  Most people do things differently from others so testing shows we are trying to understand that.  Tests can be fair but it depends on the people.

The four (probably) most important things in my life

The number one most important thing is probably whether or not I'll live and what my future will be.  This depends on how well I do and how well my family is doing and the people around me.  The second most important thing is probably my family because without them life would be much more difficult.  The third thing is probably the choices I make whether I'm fully understanding what is going on around me or in the world.  The fourth thing would probably be my reason to live which could be just to do what I can while I'm alive and not worry about what is at the end.

The best president of the United States (Maybe/Possibly)

Abraham Lincoln had the greatest impact on America back in the day.  He was just a very fair president.  The hardest part of being president or being a ruler in general is making the right choices in any situation you may find yourself in.  It can either send you to a worse place or put you up in the clouds.

If I could give away $100,000 to charity I would give it to...

I would give it to cure cancer because it is a disease that is probably the worst and can happen in a lot of places in the body leading to death early on.  Cancer is tragic so we want to find the cure as soon as possible.  It takes away a lot of peoples lives and gives them very short periods to live which they can't do anything about.  Also because it has been around a long time and there is nothing to do but just keep pushing the effort to find the cure.  It can determine what will happen to the next generation.  The diseases that are being brought to us have been around for a very long time and they should be our most important problem to solve all around the entire world.

If I could go somewhere else or not want to be where I was right now...

I'd go to the beach and eat a healthy lunch everyday.  I'd get to swim whenever I want to and breathe the fresh air.  I'd have watermelon all the time and coconuts.  I'd have a really big house with lots of sports cars in the garage.  The beach would always be warm with a cool breeze.  I wouldn't take long walks on the beach because that's not my thing.  Nothing compares to living at a beach as long as the weather conditions are nice.

If I was an insect...

I'd be a fly because it is dark and it is fast also because it can make offspring that are nasty and then grow into mini flies that grow up.  I would be an annoying fly who survived all fly swatters.  I would bother many humans in my lifetime and it would be great fun.  I'd fly every time I had the chance.

The long, yet, short time I had before going back to school

It was a great break to be had and it lasted forever.  It included lots of sleeping and staying up.  I spent most time playing video games and living life as a bed potato.  It only took a little while but now I am back in school again which is crazy.  I was picked up from a friends house around 7 a.m. then I went to sleep and woke up at 6 p.m. where I stayed up, and as of right now I am bracing the school day.  This Christmas I spent most of my money on an electric airsoft gun and things I needed for it.  I also went and bought a four pack of a game and sent three other copies to friends.  I then played that game and enjoyed it well.  I can't wait for this day to end so I can lay down.  I also received an electric guitar for christmas with a little amp to go with it.  The last thing I received was a minecraft poster which I put on my door.  I can still see the totally dark room in which I boxed myself into with my pc and wasted whatever time I had.  This was a good Christmas for sure and so was the new years celebration.
